The Truly Classic 56 is a charming yacht concept that is equally suited to family cruising and bluewater expeditions. There have been four TC 56's have been built so far: Lady Ann (ex Evangelyne) at McMullen & Wing in 1998, Little Dragon (ex Belphegor), also in 1998 at Holland Jachtbouw, Princess of Tides at Aluboot in 1999 and Corian in 2001 by Holland Jachtbouw.
While being the smallest boat available with an aft deckhouse, the deckhouse is large enough to accommodate a navigation station and settee. The rest of the interior volume is similarly optimised, with an intimate open plan salon, two guest cabins aft and a choice between one owners' suite and two guest cabins forward. All this is coupled with an excellent performance, the parameters of which depends upon the keel size and sail plan. Although the Truly Classic 56 is not a lightweight boat, she performs exceptionally well in both light and heavy airs.
